Organizer: Version set after Instant Fix greyed out

Hi there,

I have instant-fixed a picture in the Organizer which I just imported before and saved it so I now see the fixed picture with the version set symbol. Right-click on the picture, and Version set is greyed out, so I can't work with it.

I tried repairing the catalog (incl. repair anyway), reconnecting missing files (no missing links found) and restarting Elements. None of it helped, so could you please let me know how I can make the Version set active?

Many thanks in advance!

Hello Neb, you must be in "Details" View mode in order to expand a version set.

Hi wchettel,

thank you very much for your hint, that did indeed the job.

(Am I the only one regarding this issue (and some other as well) as not the best solution that Adobe has chosen here in terms of UI intuitivity and also documention? For the latter: I googled "adobe elements version set", got Adobe's respective help page as a first result and on this page, there is not a single match if you look for words beginning with "deta" for Details View.)

Best regards,

Neb

Hi Neb,

I'm pleased that I was able to help. I had the same problem when I created my first edit/version set! I'm not sure how I found the solution. Maybe some folks always keep the Organizer in Details view mode and don't realize the difference in expanding version sets.
