Elements 12 spot healing, clone stamp and eraser stopped working in the middle of a task. Updated, turned computer off and on. Still has problem. Windows 8.1. Suggestions appreciated.
After much effort, I have come to the conclusion that on a scale of F to A, Adobe Customer Service and friendliness ranks as a solid D+. I wish there existed a worthy competitor.

I assume that since the forum has no suggestions and Adobe offers no other support, then I am just stuck with a non-working program and I should advise people that Adobe is not a good company. William Jordan

Appreciate the time and effort of Peru Bob. I find the fix easy to do but it did not reactivate the usefulness of the healing brush/clone/eraser.

I just realized that you asked a Photoshop Elements question in the Premiere Elements Forum, so I'm moving this to the proper forum.

I uninstalled the program and downloaded the cleaner. The options for the cleaner did not mention Premiere/Photoshop Elements 12. What is the correct number?
