Password is now being requested to open a PDF in Photoshop Elements that I had been able to open previously. Any suggestions, settings?

What version of Elements are you using?

Are you saying that a particular PDF that you have previously opened in Elements without a password now requires a password?  That makes no sense unless a password has been added to the PDF file since the last time you opened it.

I don't think I have ever tried to open a password protected PDF in Elements, but I will give it a test once you respond to my questions.

Added:  Also, please post a screenshot of the message you are seeing.
