I am currently running Photoshop Elements 12 on my MAC with Mojave running. I'd like to upgrade to Monterey. Will this version of PE work?

Thanks!

No you will need the current pse 2023 for use on macOS Monterey 12.6.

The reason is that even though pse 12 itself is 64 bit, it uses some 32 bit components and

since macOS Catalina Apple has deprecated running anything 32 bit.

Ok, thanks. Unfortunately I don't generally upgrade to subscriptions. Do you know if there's a standalone version?

UPDATE: looks like there is a standalone version for Elements only (not Photoshop). Might be due for an upgrade!

Looks like the 2023 version needs 6th generation Intel processor. I have Intel Core i5. Obviously I'd have to upgrade to Monterey first but do you think it would still work? I have all the other requirements (memory, storage, etc).

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey 12.6.3 with photoshop elements 2023 and

runs about the same as it does on my 2022 Mac Stuidio, albeit somewhat slower.

What model and year is your Mac?

You should be fine with that iMac as far as macOS Monterey and pse 2023 compatibility.

Looks like that model uses at least an 8TH generation intel processor.
