Photo Edit not opening

New Here ,
Oct 23, 2017 Oct 23, 2017

Using Elements 10 and Premier elements 10 i had no issues until recently. When I try to open Photo Edit it looks like its going to open but after some times nothing.

In essence the Photo Edit is not opening when previously it did. This means I can do nothing with my photos.

Could this be an issue of Elements 10 needing updated to a later version?.

How can I contact Adobe help line.

All help appreciated.

Bren

Hi Arshia,

I cannot open Chat support as it simply keeps asking the same questions. The related post mentioned is also not contactable.

I need to chat to someone to resolve this issue.

Edit not opening.

The Edit did work previously but the options seem to have changed.

Please advise on Chat solution.

Bren

Try trashing the saved prefs while launching the Editor. Hold down the three keys CtrL+Alt+Shift and keep them depressed while right-clicking on the Editor desktop icon and choosing “Open” – or clicking on the Editor from the welcome screen. Release the three keys after two seconds and when you see the prefs dialog click “Yes” to delete the settings.

Many thanks for your input to this issue but regrettably I still have a problem

I just noticed the Date box beside editor is elongated and stretched and the editor drop down box seems not to fully drop down.

All suggestions appreciated.

Try from finder:

Quit Elements (if open)

Go to your username >>Library >> Preferences

Delete the following files/folders:

com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist

Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 settings

Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 paths

After deleting the above items try re-launching the PSE10 Editor application.

N.B. To get to your user library quickly hold down the Optn (Alt) key and on the menu click Go. The Library choice will then appear.
