photo print is blown out

Trying to print a photo from Elements 2018:  I Placed it in a blank document, set the default for PHOTO - it looked good on the screen, did no editing on it and went straight to PRINT.  I'm printing on an Epson 620, which I have used for printing photos for years.  The result was a blown out version of the photo, with a subtle color shift.  To confirm that all was working in my basic system, I took the same photo and imported it into iOS Photos app on my MacBook Pro, did no editing on it, hit PRINT, it came out as expected.  What settings am I missing in Elements to have a photo print the way I would expect?

Is this a recent development?

Go to Image>Mode and be sure that RGB Color is checked.

Does PSE or the printer manage colors on your set-up? We don't want both. Go to Edit>Color Settings and check Optimize Colors for Computer Screens.

Go to File>Print>More options (at the bottom)>Color Management tab>Color Handling and in the drop-down check Printer Manages Colors.

Are you using both Epson paper and Epson ink?

Also, has there been an update for the printer driver? Check on Epson web site.
