Windows 7 64 bit PC. When I merge 2 images, at some point after I press Create Panorama, the Clean Edges window pops up and asks: "Would you like to automatically fill in the edges of your panorama? YES or NO". Whether I press YES or NO, the edges are not filled in. That's the first of the issues, and not the worst one!
The Clean Edges window in the case of 2 images is half hidden behind the new area where the panorama is going to be created. If I click on it, it comes to the foreground and I can make my choice and the program finishes the panorama. If I choose 3 or more images, then the area where the panorama is going to be created is wider (of course) and hides the Clean Edges window totally. I can't move the future panorama field to get at the Clean Edges window and the process stops.
When the Clean Edges Window is totally hidden, I can click Undo several times and the future panorama area at some point reverts to a single image size, then I can click the Clean Edges Window and the program finishes up and shows one of the set of images as "the panorama".
Some questions I have:
Does anyone know of a solution to these 2 problems?
Does PSE 2019 have the same issues and if not, will Adobe upgrade me free of charge? I bought PSE 2018 weeks ago, just before 2019 was announced.

It gets very, very bizarre!
I found three four clumsy work-arounds:
1. When I increase the height of the Photo Bin to the max, the Clean Edge Window becomes visible every time AND the filling of the edges YES or NO also works!
2. When I open my images in Guided mode, everything works fine
3. When I open my images in Expert mode, and then switch to Guided mode to create the pano, the process gets stuck. However, when I then open and close Internet
Explorer one or two times, the Clean Edges window pops to the front and I can finish the pano.
4. Disable "Allow Floating Documents in Expert Mode" in Preferences, General
My questions still stand, because these work-around are not acceptable to me and I guess to many others.
And there is this issue: one of the choices is "Content Aware Fill Transparent Areas"; if you not check that, you still get asked later if you want the edges filled in with what I assume is Content Aware Fill, or am I mistaken here?
Update:
PSE 2019 has the same issues!
Adobe Tech Support agrees that there is an issue and have added it to the list for improvement of the next version of PSE.
