photos don't open automatically in PSE2021 from DXO

With PSE 2013 photos I processed in DXO Photo Lab opened automatically when I exported them.  I just bought PSE 2021 and they don't open.  I have to find them to open them.

Also I cannot get rid of the welcome screen.  I have to click on Photo Editor on that screen so I can get to the screen for further editing.  Is this what is keeping the files from opening automatically in PSE 2021?

To answer your question about getting rid of the Welcome Screen, take a look at this thread.

I've never used the DxO program.  Can you explain in more detail what you used to be able to do and what you cannot do now.  If the DxO program is a plug-in, try installing it again.  It should then find PSE 2021.

DXO finds PSE but the Elements welcome screen opens and when I click on
PHoto Editor the PSE screen opens with no photo there as it used to be.
After I process a raw file in DXO an option is to transfer it to another
program. Mine is set up to be PSE. When the photo was fully transferred,
PSE would open with the picture in place.

In DXO i believe you need to set the pse shortcut to the

PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe

in

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2021

I do have it set to that and it worked perfectly in my old version of PSE.

Please check again to verify since there are two shortcuts in the Photoshop Elements 2021 folder

the first is

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021, which will show the Welcome Screen and the one you want

PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe, which will bypass the Welcome Screen.

Thanks.
