Recently I added a few more videos to my catalog of about 4400 videos. However of the last 60 I have added, about half of them show no thumbnail (just an audio symbol). If I try to play the video within the Organizer, I get sound but a blank video screen. They are all MP4 and from the same device that most of my other videos have come from. Nothing has changed that I am aware of to cause this. I tried turning off the Media Analysis to no avail. I tried renaming my Thumbs.CACHE file but it regenerated all of the thumbs in the same manner as above. I have added some MP4 video from another device and it plays perfectly. All of the problematic video seems to play fine outside of Elements (i.e using Windows 10 media player). Help!

Do you have Photoshop Elements installed on your machine or both Photoshop and Premiere Elements?
For the files which are playing without video, can you please tell the video stream present in them. You can use MediaInfo tool https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download for the same. simply open the file in it and it will tell you the audio and video stream present in those files.
Thanks,
