On 11/19/17 I posted that Elements would not open jpg files and there was no error message. Peru_Bob responded and told me to reset Preferences back to their defaults. I did this and was able to open and edit one jpg file. I marked my previous post as resolved. Today when I tried to use my usual shortcut to open Elements 14, it would not open, the shortcut disappeared from my desktop and Windows 10 gave me an error message: PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS ORGANIZER.EXE UNKNOWN SOFTWARE EXCEPTION (0xc06d007e). My entire system then got very slow. A reboot got the system almost back to normal speed.
