Photoshop Elements 15 freezes after start running

Hi. I marked before by mistake my question as an answer. I post it again. Sorry for my disparage...

Hi all,

I installed PSE 15 throuh Microsoft Store yesterday and everything was fine (or so they say). I have Windows 10 in an HP Envy with a 27 inches touch screen.

I already have PSE 9 installed in the same PC, same user. It works OK.

When I start PSE 15 and go to Organizer, after a few seconds the screen turn black and nothing happens. I can recover with Control-Alt-Del (twice, at least). Then, I can do one action (importing files from a folder, for instance). The application imports correctly the file(s) and after that, the screen freezes. Absolutely nothing respond (not with the mouse, nor with the fingers). Before that, all the commands shine and if you press one of them, a blank border rounds the command and nothing works. Again, you can recover after a couple of Control-Alt-Del to be able at least to quit the program. The editor seems to work fine. But if you move from the Editor to the Organizer, the behaviour is still the same...

Could someone give me an idea about how to fix this situation? Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Can you please confirm if Auto Hide Taskbar on your Windows machine is on or off?

Also, please try resetting default settings once.

For this, Go to Edit > Preferences

Click on Reset Default Settings and relaunch Elements Organizer.

Thanks,

Anwesha
