Hi,

Please try the following steps:

Launch Elements Organizer while keeping the Shift key pressed. This will open Catalog Manager.
In the Catalog Manager dialog, click New and create a new catalog. Specify a name for the catalog, and then click OK.
Open the Preferences (Ctrl + K). In the Preferences:
- Click on Media Analysis, uncheck all checkboxes.
- Click on Files, uncheck Automatically Search for and Reconnect Missing Files and Automatically Generate Thumbnails for Video Files.
Start Elements Organizer. If Organizer launches without any issues, switch back to your old catalog.

After completing steps 1 and 2, nothing will work. Selecting photo editor does nothing. Selecting organizer or premiere elements both crash with the message bla bla has stopped working.

Can you please share the event log so that we can see what exactly is failing?

To find event logs:

Open Settings
Click on System
Click on About
Click on "Additional administrative tools"
Open "Event Viewer"
Expand "Windows Logs" from the sidebar and click on "Application"
Find an Application Error that involves Elements Organizer.
Look in the "General" pane for information about the faulting module.

Hi,

The module that is failing and causing this crash is "nvoglv64.dll". This is a component your Nvidia video card driver. Make sure you have the latest version of the driver installed.

Nvidia sayes the driver I have installed is the latest release. Will there be a fix for this in the future ? If not, will I be able to return the software ? I guess I can just continue using Elements 12, which still works.
