I just wasted an hour and a half on the chat support and they were not able to help me at all so I am seeking help here!
I was working on some files this afternoon and then all of a sudden, the files I had been working on and anything that I saved with the last 48 hours will give me the error message in the title, specifically files I have saved as "Photoshop PDF". Support tried to assist and they had a "fix" but the fix only sent PDFs back to me as flattened images when the "Photoshop PDFs" have and save layers. I can no longer open those files, but only the ones I've saved recently.
I can create new files and if I save those as "Photoshop PDF", even though the layers box is checked, it does not save my layers and it flattens my image.
I can still open old files and all of the layers still show.
I have already attempted troubleshooting options that I looked up this afternoon such as clearing preferences. I checked my error log and keep showing the error: /Adobe/pse/e15/elements/main/build/photoshop/sources/UVMBytes.cpp : 244 : REQUIRE failed
Any assistance would be very, very greatly appreciated as I was attempting to work under a deadline (isn't that always the time things fall apart?) and would really like to continue working on my files.
