When i try to start my PSE 15 I get a error message
The message just says that because of a problem the programm cant be started.
Any suggestions?
Best wishes from Germany,
Adrian
I couldnt find a process called dashost.exe. After searching i found out that i needed to stop the framwork process.
After doing that a new error message came up when tryinf to delete.... reimage.exe. Thann came a akvtray message. This file is from G Data and i had to uninstall the programm. After that..... i finally managed to delete the lavasoft dll. PSE started off perfectly.
Thank you very much for your help.

Adrian

I have two error logs. My version of malwarebytes will for some reason not run; not connected to the internet.
Which one is important?

Hallo Sandeep,
thank you for your help. I do have LavasoftTcpService64.dll in the system32 folder. I spent yesterday trying to delete it... without success.
Your link to resolve this issue is not available.
I would be gratefull for any more solutions in deleting this file.

Try this link:

You need to remove the Lavasoft program and try launching Elements again. It may be listed as Web Companion.

I uninstalled web Companion a couple of days ago.
My problem is that LavasoftTcpService64.dll is still in the system32 folder. I have tried just about everything
to delete this file. The result is always the same "cannot delete file because it the file is open in dashost.exe.
There are many suggestions on the net about how to stop or uninstall das.host but all solutions say that the task can be stopped in the task manager.... but for me its not visable.
I am so far away from my original problem... the deeper i get the more problems arise.
I would be very greatfull for any help.

Adrian

dashost is probably required for wireless devices. If it is in System32 it is unlikely to be a problem:
One suggestion is to use the tool adwcleaner
