Photoshop Elements 2018 on my mac (OS 10.13)crashes anytime I try drag and drop anything.

I upgraded my mac to OS 10.13.  From then on my Photoshop Elements 11, which I have used for years, began to crash anytime I opened a file and tried to drag and drop anything.  I purchased Photoshop Elements 18 which says it is compatible with mac High Sierra, but the same thing happens.  I can't use the program at all because doing any drag and drop action causes the program to crash.  Am I the only one having this issue?  Is there a fix

If you can launch the editor, try trashing the prefs. From the menu go to:

Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor >> Preferences >> General

Click the button to reset the prefs on next launch then click OK.

Quit and re-launch the application.
