The old slideshow module has been replaced by a new one several years ago. The new solution is automated through artificial intelligence and you can't customize anything otherwise than by choosing different themes. The other main idea of the new version is that today everybody wants the support of high resolution and a universal sharing way, which is by exporting mp4 videos. If you want to customize a slideshow, you'll have to use Premiere Elements.

Hi,
Is it possible to change transitions duration time and add Thought & Speech Bubbles like in my previous version of Photoshop Elements 7.
These features added fun to a slideshow and are NOT present in Photoshop Elements 2020.
Thanks

Note that the quick slideshow on your computer via the F11 full screen mode has an option to set frame duration.

The 'full view' module accessible by the shortcut F11 or the menu 'View' lets you play a basic slideshow with selectable transition time on your computer, but it does not offer any way to output the slideshow in a shareable display format.
So, the only way considered to be pertinent today is to output a video in the mp4 format.
Either by using the automatic choices managed by artificial intelligence in Photoshop Elements, or by using the Premiere Elements video editor, which offers all kinds of flexibility provided you have the knowledge to manage it (which is not my case...)

Hi Michel, thanks for the guidance, now I understand. Seems being a kind of hidden feature. At least good for a instant slideshow.
For the 'real' Slideshow option with slide transition timing by artificial intelligence (which is for me to fast for travel pictures) a nice feature would be an option of a kind of time correction factor (say 100& is AI timing, user can adjust fatser down to 50% or slower up to 150% or 200% of the AI timing). This would be a great improvement!
Cheers

In the Elements Organizer, choose the Album or Folder you wish to see as a slide show, then select View > Full Screen (or use the keyboard shortcut, F11).
There are four transition effects - Classic, Fade In/Out, Pan and Zoom, and 3D Pixelate - and three durations - 2 sec, 4 sec, and 10 sec. You can add captions and background music too, and there's an option to repeat the slide show if you need to leave it running continuously.
These are temporary, quick slide shows that you can't save or export, but might be useful in some situations.
