PhotoShop Elements 2021 does not start any more on iMac M1 macOs 12.1

Hi there,

I had successfully installed PSE 2021 on my iMac with the M1 chip set. A few weeks ago it stopped working. The blue PSE pops up for a few seconds and then vanishes again. Premeiere Elements continues to run just fine.

 

I have since then scanned similar issues and tried all the recommendations:

* rebooted

* updated iOS to Monterey 12.1

* uninstalled with Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/Uninstall ....

* started from the Launchpad

* started from /Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020/Support Files/Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.app/Contents/MacOS with the following output:
