Photoshop Elements 2021 for Mac, updating problems

Community Beginner ,

I have recenty updatet my MacBook Air from 2015 with Intel processor,  to a "new" MacBook Air with A1 processor from 2020. I bought in 2021 Photoshop Elements 2021 for Mac and it worked fine on my old MacBook, but now i have problems.

As soon as I start the editor it says there is an update to Photoshop Elements 2021.3, it can run the update now or as I close it. After I have closed the editor it starts to update, but there is the problem. It runs 88% then it stops and give me an errorcode 146. I have tried several times both closing the editor emedeatly for update, and finshing my work an then close for update. It is the same result every time. I have run the Adobe Log collector tool and got this message: AdobeLogs_20250317_164620_105-mac-GS.zxp

I Realy need some help.

Best regards Hans-Peter

Have you tried turning off Internet connection prior to restarting PSE?

My PSE 2021.0 doesn't ask for any updates.

(M1 chip, macOS 15.3.2)

Here's a list of updates Adobe has pushed out for more recent Photoshop Elements versions:

Did you download the PSE 2021 installer from your Adobe account or did you migrate the Applications from your old Intel MacBook Air?

Originaly I migrated it from my Intel MacBook Air i february when I bought the MacBook Air A1, but recently I began to have these messages that it shuld update and that the update failed. I then got the adwice to deinstall PSE 2021 and after restarting my Mac install it again, and that wont work att all.

Now I got a message from Adobe that they don´t support PSE 2021 for Mac Os Sequioa, but they did that in february when I got the "new" Mac. So it must be after the latest update of OS Sequioa a few days ago.

I have tried everything to get my PSE 2021 running on my MacBook Air M1, nothing helps. It is not possible to install the programe again. The installation stops aftere 40 - 80% and give the same failure message FAIL 146.

I can see the Organizer are installed but not the editor, the very same programe that asked for update every time I run it tha last wek, bot never managed to do the update, it was the same result as mentioned above.

I have tried to reinstall from the originav DVD and I have tried to reinstall from a file downloaded from my Adope account, exept for the time consumption for the update it is the same result every time.

If you can´t give me a very good explanation how to do, I can only come to that conclusion that PSE 2021 not can run on OS Sequoia 15.3.2 so I am trying to sell the programe and may be buy a never version.
