. . . but many users (me included) have had problems using the Adobe Photo Downloader to import HEIF media from an iPhone. There are workarounds for transferring photos and videos from the iPhone to a computer and then importing the files into the Organizer from the hard drive. Frankly, I see no advantage to using HEIF files on a computer other than saving storage space. While saving storage space may be important on a phone, it is possible to shoot in HEIF formats on your phone but convert to jpg and h.264 when transferring from the iPhone to the computer.
