Photoshop Elements 2022 won;t open Sony A6700 raw files

Photoshop Elements 2022 won't open Sony A6700 raw files but the list of cameras says it is compatible. I had no problem with my Sony A6000 raw files. What is wrong?

Your newer A6700 camera requires ACR 15.5.  (Your A6000 only requires ACR 8.4).  Elements 2022 has only been updated to ACR 14.1.

You can still update Elements 2022 to the very latest ACR (currently 16.x) by using the workaround found here.  You must follow the instructions precisely.  For Elements 2022, you must copy the Camera Raw.8bi file to the following directory:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 20\File Formats\
