I was unable to download pictures froman SD card to my organizer. Kept coming back as no media found. I was able to downlaoded them to microsoft photo. I went back to organizer to bring them into photoshop elements and the file came back corrupted or unable to recognize format. Don't know what to do and I need the pictures . Anyone have any advice. Thanks Rich

What is the source of the photos (camera or phone model) and what format (raw/jpeg)?
If the photos are raw files, you need to install the Camera Raw file plug-in from the Help menu.

I shoot in Raw and had downloaded another SD card with no problem. I tried a card reader and PS came back no files and the same when I used my camera. Thanks Rich

Do you have a new camera. If so, which model? You may need to upgrade the Camera Raw plug-in, manually.
Can you read the card in Windows Explorer?

So, you are able to use the Windows photo app to transfer the files to your computer, but the files are not recognized by Elements when you import from files and folders?
What is the model of your camera? And if you go to the Editor's Help>About Plug-in>Camera Raw command, what version of Camera Raw is displayed?
And can you open a "corrupt" file in the Editor?
