photoshop elements and access to maps

I know this line of chatr has appeared elsewhere, but ....... I have PSE 18, again, like many, bought last year.  However, when I wanted to create a 'place', I never wanted or needed  map access - this is cumbersome and not neccessarily accurate -  I just wanted a means to tag my images with a 'place', it duidn't have to be dynamic.  So, now I can't even do that as my old 'Place' tags won't let me add a new one, and I can't access Maps (of any sort) via the new 'Place' tag list.  Looks as though I have to upgrade for some £50-60; thank you Adobe, very very unimpressed.

What about re-inserting the original 'Place' code into PSE 18 which did not access Googlemaps, but allowed me to define a place.  That would help restore my faith in you and not see Adobe as a money-grabber.  Please think about it, you would cheer up a whole lot of people.

Regards.

Try creating a keyword tag hierarchy.  I have never used Places and the map feature.  Instead, I use keyword tags to define the locations I want to search by.
