Photoshop Elements (and Premiere Elements) 2024 - Message License Revoked

New Here ,
Dec 31, 2025 Dec 31, 2025

I have legitimate licenses for both Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 2024, installed on just one machine.  I want to install them on my new machine, but they will not activate. I get a license revoked message. I paid for a perpetual license for these products and have a legal right to use them under the terms of that license, but Adobe support is completely unhelpful. They claim I have to get a subscription to the new versions.

Whee did you make your original purchase from?
How much did you pay?  Anything less than $59?   99.999999% chance it was an illeagal copy.
What is your OS?

Steps to Resolve a Revoked License:
  1. Confirm Your Details:
    • Ensure you're using the right 24-digit serial number or redemption code.
    • Verify you're signed in with the Adobe ID used for purchase.
  2. Contact Adobe Support:
    • Go to Adobe's contact page.
    • Type "Agent" in the chat box and wait for a human representative.
    • Be prepared to provide proof of purchase (like order number or email).
  3. Try Basic Troubleshooting (If Directed by Support):
    • Make sure your operating system is updated (especially for newer Elements versions).
    • Run the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (or similar tools) if advised.
    • Download a fresh installer from your Adobe account.
  4. Understand the Cause:
    • Revocation can happen if Adobe detects a shared key or license transfer issues.
    • Expired trial or older software builds can also trigger these messages.
Important: Be wary of unsolicited offers for help in forums; only use official Adobe channels to avoid scams.

Scammers love topics like yours.  Typically they will send you an email from their email account (99.99999% of the time that email will end with outlook.com)   Just login here, we need your login and password.... it's amazing that people give them that information.

Adobe employees will have the little A icon at the 4 oclock position of their user icon, and their account info will end with Adobe.com.
