Photoshop Elements Error Code 150:30

I run a 2009 version of Photoshop Elements on a new iMac.  After I've downloaded photos from my camera to Bridge, I try to open them in Photoshop.  I get a box titled "Licensing for this product has stopped working."  The error code is 150:30,  The box tells me to restart my computer, but that doesn't work.

How can I make Photoshop Elements open my photos?
