Photoshop Elements: Error Message

I am trying to instal Photoshop Elements 2021 on my 2021 imac running Big Sur.

Every time I click on the Photoshop icon I get the message.

'An Error has occured while installing selected updates'

Is there a solution to this problem.

Did you install from a DVD disc version?  If so, uninstall your current program and download and install the latest update from this link. 

If that isn't the issue, I'm afraid I know nothing about Macs, so can't help you further.

That's a macOS error message, so I'd make sure you're running the latest version of Big Sur (11.4 which was released a couple of days ago), then follow @Greg_S. 's advice and download a new copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021.
