Is it possible to purchase / download just the Organiser bit of the PSE suite ie. no editor function?

I'm not sure about this, but if you download the free trial of Elements, the Organizer will continue to work after the trial has expired.

I just tried trial, hoping that the latest version would have fixed the GPS co-oridinate overwrite bug (no such luck...) but I can't run the organiser after the trial has ended. See screenshot:

When you launch editor (without subscribing) the editor quits, and then the organiser quits.

. . .  But you cannot uninstall the Editor without uninstalling the Organizer.
