Photoshop elements stopped working since windows 10 update

Hi

i have had photoshop elements 7 on my admittedly old laptop for a good few years and it has worked perfectly. Until I recently updated windows 10. Now it will not open properly. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times between restarts etc but nothing works.

I have read online that it’s a common problem after updating. I would upgrade to the latest version if I thought it would work however im not sure if my computer is set up for it.

In the “system type” section it says the following:

32-bit Operating system, x64-based processor. Does this mean that my computer isn’t set up for the latest version of elements? As I have read elsewhere that it has to be 64-bit.
