I have Photoshop Elements Version 17.  I have installed Camera Raw 13.1.  However, when I check Photoshop Elements Version 17, it states that I only have Camera Raw 11 installed.

I cannot open CR2 files taken from my Canon 6D Mk II camera.  As soon as I try to load up image, I receive the following message:

I ensured in my camera settings that I selected "RAW" and not the compressed Medium or Small RAW compressed.

It is driving me insane that I cannot any RAW image.

Please help !!!

>>>I have Photoshop Elements Version 17

I assume that means Elements 2019 (version 17.0).

Elements 2019 can read CR2 files from the Canon 6D Mk II out of the box. The camera was first supported in Camera Raw 9.12 and Elements 2019 ships with Camera Raw 10.4. So no updates should be required.

Can you upload one of your CR2 files to Dropbox (or similar) and post a link in a reply here so we can take a look at it?
