My Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 was just updated and now will only save a picture as Adobe Photoshop Elements Image. ONLY (Can't save as .jpg or other formats.)

You cannot save a multi-layer image as a jpeg. Is that what is possibly happening? Are you getting any warning or error messages. If you flatten the image can you save it as a jpeg?
