photoshop elements wont download from iphone

i am quietly going mad

previously i could plug my iphone in and when i click to download photos it would

it checkes media says there 5600 appox files it then goess to download excluding duplicates

plaese check your connection to computer check your battery etc

is there any way to sort this out

What OS and version of Elements are you using?

This one is driving me nuts too.  Unfortunately, I believe it is a Microsoft/Apple problem as I have seen the same problem reported by others who are not using Adobe products. 

However, if you are a Windows user taking HEIC or HVC formats on your iPhone, take a look at this article.

I am using photoshop elements 2019 with windows 10

my old version of photoshop elements 12 with windows 6 always worked until both did up grades

This problem is related to iOS 13.1.2 and later versions.
It inhibits download of images to either MAC or PC and Microsoft's own Photos program has same problem, so it's for sure an Apple iOS issue.
