Picture does not show, just a question mark

Brand new Mac and Elements 15 just installed. Imported the pictures fine and they show in grid mode, but when I double click all I get is a blank picture with a question mark

Hi,

Are these the multiple files for which you see question mark on thumbnail or few files?

In case there are some of them, then I would request you to please check and report the resolution of any such file. To do so, select this file, open the Information tab in right panel:

Report the size field value (along with resolution( x x y) ) for this image.

After the latest upgrade it works fine. I have no clue what caused the original problem. Thanks
