In Elements 2018 Organizer, why are images pinned inaccurately and grouped together in generic locations, for example images taken in various locations in a town are grouped together and do not display as individual images when in Places. If I then ask for Location names to be found, it may only give the town name or in some cases only the county or country. If I then populate the metadata attached to the images, the accurate GPS data is overwritten by the inaccurate, generic location data.
Original images display accurately in other applications, such as Canon's Map Utility, unless of course I have followed the procedures detailed above.
Incidentally everything was working fine with Elements 14 until the Google Maps issue came about earlier this year.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
