pixelated thumbnails in elements 2023 Layers panel

After editing a subject sometimes the layers thumbnail pixelates and i cant get it to show the image unless I delete some steps in the history

32gb on  computer and a 12gb graphic card it

Can you please show us a screenshot of the problem?   Are you only talking about the thumbnails in the layers panel not showing?  Or are you saying that the edited photo is not displaying the expected image?  The layer panel thumbnail problem has been reported by a couple of other users and I know of no fix.
