I get pop-up ads in Photoshop Elements, and there is no "Don't show again" option. Just "Learn more..." and "Later", but no option for "Never." I have checked all the preferences and everything that seems related is unchecked.
This is poor form on Adobe's part. Shame on them. Spam me with e-mail if you want, but don't get in my way when I'm trying to use the product I paid for.
I've branched your post from a thread in the Photoshop forum and moved it to the Photoshop Elements forum for you. I also added "Elements" to your subject for clarity.
