Position on page of PDF created from Photoshop

I have a problem printing a PDF. The problem disappears if I recreate the PDF via Photoshop but the PDF body gets shifted on the page a little up and a little to the left, though it remains exactly the same size. How can I get it to be output in exactly the same place on the page?

What I do is open the PDF with Photoshop then print it from Photoshop to the Adobe PDF printer. I get the same result if in Photoshop I save the file to a PDF, but the resulting file is vast.

The problem printing the original PDF is that a coloured object with text in it at top left gets smeared to the right and loses its text, rather precisely and always in exactly the same way. Rotating the PDF by 180 degrees does not help. The Word file the PDF is created from prints OK.
