my Elements 2020 suddenly stopped working to my printer. Lightroom still OK. other programs eg ms WORD still OK. Any help / advice appreciated

Are you printing from the Editor?  If so, try resetting the preferences file. Go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.
