Printing changing printers

I have seen similar questions and answers, but they do not help me. I have elements 14, on windows 10 with an Canon MG5220 printer, which I use for PSE printing. My other printer is a BW laser printer. It's worked for the past few years until I had problems with t he Canon. Those have been resolved, but when I print from PSE to the Canon, it switches over to the BW laser. As an experiment, I printed to the Canon in MS Word, which worked.

Your suggestion with other similar problem were to rename Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 Prefs.psp. I could not find that file nor any *.psp file. Any other suggestions?

Suggest that you check on the Canon web site to be sure that you have the latest driver for the printer.

I suspect that the Canon driver was developed prior to the release of PSE.v14.

If the driver is up to date, the next step is to reset global preferences in PSE to default. To do that, in Editor, expert tab, go to Edit>Preferences>General and look for this:
