problem with making a pdf of a psd

I have PSE11 that runs on a Mac.  I upgrade recently my Mac to OSX El Capitan 10.11

I notice now that I can't make a pdf of my psd.file.  Is this due to the upgrading of my Mac ? How can I upgrade my PSE ?

As you notice my questioning, I'm not a expert , so a clear answer is welcome, please not to technically.

What happens when you try to save as a pdf?

Is your pse 11 from the mac app store?

Just print to a pdf a file and you are done.  Most modern machines have a software to create a pdf file.  Microsoft Windows 10 has got what is called "Microsoft print to pdf".
