PS 2018 + Bridge

New Here ,
May 19, 2018 May 19, 2018

I purchased and downloaded PS 2018, having used it for some time I thought I'd add "Bridge" to the mix, does Bridge work with the downloaded version of PS 2018 and if so why can't I get it to work ? Plus what constitutes a "qualifying product". I upgraded from PS 14 and I'm using W10 64 bit.

I like the idea of using camera raw without having to fire up PS so some help with this would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Dave.

Dave,

My advice: first read the following discussion:

http://photoshopelementsandmore.com/thread/1584/bridge-free-all

To be short:

- you can install Bridge for free without subscribing to the CC Cloud

- a "qualifying" product is either Photoshop or Elements

- the ACR version is either the full one if you have Photoshop or the limited one in Elements ACR.

I like the idea of using camera raw without having to fire up PS

Not sure that you'll get what you want, but since you already have PSE2018, it's worth trying.
