Hi,

Are you still suffering from this problem?

If so, we need more information.

Which operating system are you running on?

Are you using Photoshop Elements 15 or Photoshop CC - this is the elements forum?

How are you trying to open the JPG?

Any error message?

Brian

Hi Saard,

We would like to help but you didn't answer my questions above.

The operating system is essential because a MAC can act differently from a PC.

If you are using Photoshop rather than Photoshop Elements then ask your question in the following forum

Photoshop

(click on the above link)

The only time I have seen problems opening a JPG is when the name contains an extra dot in it.

e.g. Photo.1.jpg    - try renaming it to Photo-1.jpg
