PSE 15 crashes on opening jpgs

Hi, my formerly fine PSE15 now crashes when opening jpgs (no error msg). I have Windows 10 installed.

After reinstallation of PSE15, but I still have the same issue (but happily that seems to have fixed the problem I had of Organiser not launching).

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

If that doesn't work, try this:

Error: An integer between 50 and 8 is required | Elements | Windows 10

Help! I now have more serious issues. After reinstalling, starting Organiser, which seemed to be working (having not been working before reinstall), I tried to open Editor. I had several BSODs, and now when I open PSE it opens for about 20 secs, I can’t do anything, then spontaneously closes. I tried the ResEdit thing mentioned below, but no change.
