PSE 15 doesn't show the menus correctly when working with 5k resolution

Hi, I'm using a Dell 27" 5k Monitor and Windows 10. I used to work with PSE 13 but I noticed Problems with the menu when working in 5k Resolution. The menu is partly hidden behind a black area. Some weeks ago, I updated to PSE15, but again, I can see the same Problem with the menu.

I updated the Display Driver, but I'm unable to resolve this.

Could that be a Software bug in PSE 15?

Any ideas, experiences, Solutions?

Current work-around is to lower the Resolution to 4k and reboot the Computer 😞

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Robert

Options for HiDpi displays were introduced in preferences for PSE13 through PSE15. There are three possible settings

Automatic

Small 100%

Large 200%

On Windows go to Edit >> Preferences to change. See my image. After you choose e.g. 200% you must click OK, close the editor and re-launch again for the settings to take effect.

Hi 99jon,

The UI scale factor was already set to "automatic". I've tested 200% and got the same bad behaviour.

But when I set it to 100%, the menu is shown correctly. Unfortunately the menu is very small now, but this is a better work around then changing the Resolution in Windows and reboot.

I guess, I'll have to live with that, until PSE will Support high Resolution Displays.

Thanks!

Robert
