PSE 15 Mac question

New Here ,
Dec 13, 2016 Dec 13, 2016

I have been using iPhoto as the destination for photos I transfer from my camera.  After upgrading to PSE 15 I decided to import 60,000 iPhoto images into the organizer.  The originals are still in iPhoto.

So, it looks like the process ate up most of the free space on the HD ...  I thought it would just tag the photos but now I'm wondering if it duplicated them.

Anyway, for now I want to continue to use iPhoto as the home for my images and would like to delete the pictures associated with the organizer catalog in hopes of regaining some free space but I can't find a folder with all of the organizer image files.

Would appreciate some help finding them ...  also some assurance that deleting them will clear some HD space and not disturb the images in iPhoto.

Thanks in advance!

To get the location of the files imported in Organizer.

Launch Element Organizer > and right click any file that you imported from iPhoto > Choose GO to Folder

This will highlight the folder that contains those files, right click that folder and choose Reveal in Explorer

> This will open the folder location in Explorer. You can then work on the files you want to delete.

Please let us know if you need more details.

Thanks,
