PSE 15 Organizer: Wrong Time Stamp

Community Beginner ,

Hallo,

i am axperiencing a problem when importing pictures from my iPhone7 (ios 10) to PSE 15: Photoshop Elements Organizer seems to take the "FileModifyDate" from the file system as time stamp and not the "CreateDate" or the "DateTimeOriginal" from the Exif Data... The effect ist that the pictures are not properly in order in my Organizer. Unfortunately iOs seems to alter the FileModifyDate so that it is not the same date anymore as the "CreateDate"... It is really irritating...

Is that a bug? A feature? Or just poorly implemented? Or is it possible to change that behaviour with some setting?

Any help greatly appreciated...

Regards

Tobias

P.S: In the meantime I am helping myself with readjusting the FileModifyDate back to the "CreateDate" using a command line tool ("exiftool")..

Hi Tobias,

I have tried this workflow at our end. This scenario seems to be buggy though I am not sure sure on whose side this bug is. That is, whether the issue is in Adobe PhotoDownloader or the iOS itself. We are investigating the issue.

Thanks for raising the issue.
