Hello! As I am not able to import with PSE 14 the NEF files from my new NIKON D850 (I think because Adobe Camera Raw don't recognize them in the older version), I try with PSE 2018 (evaluation version) ... but same problem.
I also try to import on my computer the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw but it does not work.
My problem is resolved ... When I open my computer to-day, there was a message from Adobe proposing an update for PSE 2018 with the 10.1 version of Camera raw. This version includes the D850 NEF files
So it's OK, all is working nice now
Thank's a lot for your interest +++++ (an sorry for my English)

Cameras supported by Camera Raw
The D850 has been supported since Camera Raw 9.12.1 which is only supported by Elements 2018.

Can you tell us more? There should be no problems with 2018 but it depends on which version of Camera Raw is installed in the trial version. If it's not 12.1 or later then that explains it.
Are you on Mac or Windows?

thank you for your answer
On Windows 8. I Don't know which version of ACR is included in PSE 2018 trial and I don't want to pay for a version that doesn't work for my camera.
when I try to import RAW from my hard disk, PSE 2018 message error: "damaged file or not dealt with". I tried with 2 series of photos
Do you know an other issue to import my RAW?
Thanks
Dominique

In PSE 2018, click Help > About Plug-Ins > Camera Raw and see which version is shown.
I suspect it's 9.12. You need 9.12.1.
