PSE 2018 Editing in View Photos Side By Side ???'s

I use View Side By Side F12 in Organizer for deciding which photo to edit and use.

In PSE 14 I could move the photo from Organizer when I was in View side by side to Editing.

Now I do not see that as an option, but have to exit, and then re find the photo in Organizer, and then import into editing.

Is there an easier way to do this?

I have not noticed any change in this behaviour in PSE 2018 compared to PSE 14.

Could you describe your problem with more details?

A common (and old) complaint is that when you exit the F11 or F12 views, you don't go back to the last viewed file in the organizer.

Another workflow:

- keep the editor open while using the organizer.

- In the editor, set your preferences to allow floating documents in expert mode. You can set two windows side by side. In any window, you can switch from full size to 100% pixel view by double clicking the magnifier or the hand tool (two icons on top of the left tool bar). You can set both windows to the same zoom level or position.

- For viewing a single file at 100% pixel view, instead of F11 it's not longer to open it in the editor. When you close the file in the editor, your are back to the same file in the organizer.

In the Organizer, when you are in View Side By Side (F12), The left tab (Edit) use to have an icon that you could hit to send the chosen photo to the Edit software program.

Now in the Edit tab, I can delete a photo and reverse the photo and print the photo, but I can no longer send it to the editing software.

Is there any way to be able to send the selected photo to edit ???????

You can assign a common tag to selected photos:

- collapsible 'organize' panel on the left,

- "assign common keywords" on the bottom.

Or maybe assign a common star rating?
