PSE 2020 Organizer crashes after loading catalog the crash reporting window pops up.After submitting the report another window opens saying Abode has found a workaround which is for me to email Adobe support...

What you describe is highly unusual. What is the Adobe support email address that you have been asked to respond to?
As for your problem, are you trying to open a catalog that was used in a prior version?
Did the catalog ever open before the crash reporter appeared?
Try holding the Shift button when you launch the Organizer. This should open the Manage Catalogs dialog. Create a new catalog and see if you can open it.
