PSE 2021 to 2024 Presets & Brushes

Community Beginner ,

Do I have to install all my presets and brushes to 2024.  Isn't there an easier way to copy them from 2021 to 2024?

Thanks,

Pam

THERE PROBABLY ARE DIFFERENT WAYS OF DOING THIS, THIS IS WHAT I DO- IT HAS NEVER STEERED ME WRONG.

Copy / PASTE them all.  I recommend copying / moving one file type, such as the ABR files, at a time.

Below is a graphic I made.  It contains the file extensions of the most common things people need to copy and paste into the correct location for PSE 2024.

you do have to restart the program for them to show up.

Generally:  failure  is because you didn't put them in the correct location.

Screenshots always help. 2023-11-16_161129.png

The method previously described doesn't work with styles, do what the images says and you will be good to go.

Thanks Glen.  That's what I thought I might have to do but just thought I'd ask if there was a different way.

Hmmmmm I did all of this and they're not showing up in PSE 2024 in the brushes or Styles when I open them.
