PSE 2022 WON'T LAUNCH ON MAC BIG SUR

I am running macOS Big Sur 11.6.1 on my Mac desktop.

I had used PSE 14 but it apparently is not compatible with Big Sur.

In uninstalled PSE 14 and downloaded PSE 2022 to my Mac.

PSE 2022 acts as though it is installed, but it doesn't appear in the list of Applications on my Mac.

When I double click on it in Finder it asks me if I want to open it, and I respond "Yes" but it doesn't actually launch.

I've uninstalled and re-installed it, turned my Mac off completely, then restarted it.

No luck.

Any ideas of how to resolve this problem?

I can't find the ability to contact Abode Support by phone or chat.
