PSE 2024 freezing/crashing when using "adjustments" options. see attached

hi,

whenever i try to use adjustments ander "quick" - the app freezescrashes and i get an error notice. i use an Imac, Sonoma 14.2.1. BTW, I have also a Macbook air, and no problems at all there. 

any ideas how to solve the problem?
